Science on the verge of creating artificial life

 It looks like scientists are on the verge of creating artificial life in a test tube and therefore proving that God is not necessary.

No.

Wait.

It turns out they are just taking already existing chemicals, lining them up, and sticking them into an already existing cell. And what are they using to create all the DNA? Already living bacteria.

I think they skipped some steps, like the entire "creating of the cell" part.
