Ancient 'Nutcracker Man' Challenges Ideas on Evolution of Human Diet
30 April 2008
The Nutcracker Man was an ape that supposedly was living around 2 million years ago. The size and characteristics of his jaw and teeth lead many to believe that it ate nuts as a source of food. A detailed examination of the teeth have now revealed that there are no marks on them that would lead to that conclusion.
The reason this comes as a shock to some is because evolution teaches that an animal evolves to suit its environment. If only hard plants and roots are available it evolves to adapt yet when there is fruit available that adaption does not happen. This is opposite of what creation teaches. Animals all had to start out with all the information needed to eat all sorts of food. When they moved to an environment where they do not need some traits those characteristics are lost.
Evolution teaches animals get better over time and creation teaches that they get worse over time. Everything we observe scientifically shows that all things tend to disorder (Second Law of Thermodynamics) and this only fits the creation model. Evolutionary model is contrary to this by teaching all things get better over time.
